A Look Back at History

Pat's Auto Repair & Towing was founded in March of 1983 by Pat O'Flannagan. Pat was working at T&L Irrigation full time in Hastings and decided that he wanted to pursue his passion of automotive repair and welding. So in his home garage in the evenings, he started "Daddy's Welding".. the name was given by his daughter, Kara. Business got so busy, that he decided to open Pat's Auto Repair & Welding in March of 1983. When Pat bought his first tow truck, he changed the name to Pat's Auto Repair & Towing. In 1999, the business burnt to the ground. With the support of his loyal customers and his nephew, Clyde - for letting Pat use his garage so he could continue working - he was able to be back up and running ninety days later. Pat's daughter, Kara, came to work for him once he reopened and has been here ever since. Pat passed away August of 2014. Kara, with the help of her husband Todd, have kept the business going and growing! The goal of Pat's Auto Repair & Towing has always been and will continue to be the best of the best in every area of the shop.. repairs, customer service and towing!
